The weather was literally PERFECT for Allison and Brendan’s engagement session at the Ohio State University Oval and Horseshoe Stadium. It felt more like late March than the middle of January. And we were at Ohio State, so… GO BUCKS!!! You might not know this, but I’m a HUGE Ohio State fan. Growing up my dad and I watched college football religiously every Saturday and it’s still my absolute favorite fall pass time. Mark will try to dispute this, but he wasn’t even really in to football until I made him watch it with me every Saturday during our first year of marriage. But now, seriously, everything stops for the Buckeyes! Well, except weddings… the only other place I’d rather be on a fall Saturday!!
Allison and Brendan are high school sweethearts and they could not be more of a joy. They are both finishing up their last semester at OSU, graduating in May, getting married two weeks later, and then moving to Washington D.C. to do Teach for America!! How amazing!! It sounds a lot like Mark and I… we always have 10 pots boiling at once. We like to think we function better with a lot going on, but maybe we’re just crazy!
Allison and Brendan, you have so much adventure just around the corner. Enjoy these last few months before you officially commit to each other and start down the crazy road of life! I can’t wait to celebrate with you this May!
